A little about me —
Living in Washburn, WI, on the shores of Lake Superior, nature surrounds and informs me. An area that has been farmed for well over a century, there is something enchanting — in a romantic sense — about the pastoral degrading back into nature, as old fields turn into forest and barns start to crumble. Just as we shape the land, my work is shaped by this landscape.
I love the nostalgia that film photography creates; it’s ability to take you right back to that moment, whether it was taken last week, last year, or fifty years ago. This is what I offer my clients, a sense of place with every photo.
I capture everyday fragments — ephemeral, visceral, intimate.
